Bonjour Monsieur Paris Trip: Day 4

On our final day, as our visit was during Paris Fashion Week, we decided to take to the grounds of Carrousel du Louvre where fashion week was being held.

I managed to get a few snaps on my phone of the street style at PFW and even spotted fashion blogger, Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad! I was a little star struck to say the least. She looked stunning, but cold in Vionnet.

We carried on walking through the park and took a look around the Louvre Museum and found a man with pigeons

Lisa eventually took really well to the pigeons...

Me, however...
Not so much!

And after a late lunch and a very large helping of crème brulée, it was back to the airport for our flight home.

My advice: if you’re thinking of going to Paris and like me you don’t like stepping out in temperatures lower than 20 degrees, go in the spring not winter. Although it was lovely experiencing Paris in the winter the cold weather was a little too much to bear at times.

However, I can’t believe I haven’t been to Paris sooner. A 45 minute flight and the metro travel card for a week cost us 30 Euros each (excluding the fine! Oh, and make sure you ask for a tourist travel card, not a locals travel card. Who were we kidding?) It is so easy to get around Paris. You can’t go wrong and I really should make plans to visit Europe more often.
