I have always had a love
affair with Paris, although I’ve been never been
before thanks to movies I always wanted to visit Paris and knew it would be a beautiful city I
would adore.
Assuring me it would be freezing; my friend insisted I packed warmer clothes than I was planning on taking with me. Paris colder than England, surely not? But no, she was right, the weather was bitterly cold. So I must admit my attire wasn’t exactly Parisian chic. In a bid to keep as warm as possible, cramming as many layers as I could underneath my coat all sense of style went straight out the window.
The First stop of the day was spent taking a look around Père Lachaise Cemetery, the largest cemetery in Paris. The cemetery is filled with tomb like memorials of French Politicians, actresses, novelists etc… But if you want to be buried here, there’s a very strict and long waiting list! I didn’t take many photographs here because a) as beautiful as the memorials were, I felt slightly uncomfortable doing so and b) the weather was miserable.

Next stop the Champs Elysees for a spot lunch, buy some gloves and take a look at the iconic l'arc de triomphe.
Later on in the evening we headed to the town of The Notre dame for a bite to eat…
